audits and management consulting having worked for many international firms in various senior leadership capacities. Dr. Chiuri is a certified global
standards lead auditor, for various accredited audit schemes includingQuality Management Systems (QMS), Food Safety Management Systems
(FSMS), International Organization of Standardization (ISO), Global Food Safety Initiative GFSI’s SQF, PrimusGFS and FSSC among others.

Started working as an UNIX Systems Administrator (Computer Systems Analyst) 1992 while attending graduate school at Rutgers University where he obtained Master of Science (MSc) degree – specializing in Satellite Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems(GIS) and GPS technologies at (https://crssa.rutgers.edu/) and complete coursework towards Ph.D. in the same field. .Studied Natural Resources Management at Colorado State University (Warner College of Natural Resources- https://warnercnr.colostate.edu/ ), obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Natural Resource Management in 1988. Before Colorado State- I had obtained a Diploma in Wildlife Management (Game Warden) at the College of African Wildlife Management- Mweka, Moshi Tanzania

Prof. Catherine Kunyanga, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Technology, and Associate Dean, Faculty of Agriculture,University of Nairobi. She is also the Coordinator, Food Security Center, a center of excellence. She is also the Coordinator, Food Security Center (FSC). She has spearheaded many assignments on agriculture and food security related issues locally and internationally.
Prof. Catherine Kunyanga has over 13 years of experience in food related issues across different value chains and has taught at UoN on the same for many years including attracting donor funded research projects. She is course instructor, consultant, researcher and mentor as well as a trained food processing and food safety expert both academically and professionally with working experience involving several assignments in food safety, standard development and review; training manual development and training or capacity building of MSMEs, FBOs, Farmers/farmer groups and other stakeholders in food
processing, agribusiness and food safety in a number of assignments and countries. Some of them include African Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries namely Kenya, Tanzania,Uganda, Ghana, Botswana, Zambia, Mauritius, Rwanda, Ethiopia among others in the horticultural (fruit and vegetable), milk, tea and coffee, cereals and legumes and livestock sectors. She has supervised many postgraduate students (PhD and MSc) in food safety and
quality with theses and journal articles published in peer reviewed scientific journals on different food value chains. Her research areas include Food Science and Technology, Food Safety, Food and Nutrition Security, Food Biotechnology, Sustainable Food Systems, Postharvest Handling, and Human Nutrition/Health. Her research is still ongoing and contributes towards use of sustainable food systems approach in a holistic, transdisciplinary,
and interdisciplinary approach to promote consumption of the safe and nutritious foods for better nutrition and health outcomes. She is involved in several collaborative projects in various capacities which has provided her with skills in proposal writing, project management
and planning and other competencies. Prof. Kunyanga has been engaged in capacity building and training of the private sector, NGO, Government ministries and SMEs on food safety and food processing/value addition.

Am Alphonce Dzombo Mbaru with a BSc.Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nairobi, an MBA (Strategic Management) from Kenyatta University and a PhD(Strategic Management) Candidate from the JomoKenyatta University of Agriculture &Technology.

I have over 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry both in Kenya and the Eastern African Market and over 10 years in Power plants Construction and Power Generation cutting through Thermal Power plants, Geothermal Power plants and now focused in matters renewable Energy. Am also a Consultant in designing and installation of Oil & Gas infrastructure. I am the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of the Mardin Group of Companies, with Interests in Bulk Fuels Trading, Power Generation, Civil Engineering works, Minerals Trading and Bulk Commodities trading. The Mardin Group of Companies has other interests, through strategic partnerships, in Bulk Water Infrastructure Development, Food & Water Security and Global Entrepreneurship. Teams & StrategicPartnerships are the building blocks of my drive in Global Entrepreneurship.

Ngolia Kimanzu is an inspirational leader with extensive experience in development, Humanitarian
response, governance, public policy research and analysis and advocacy, leadership, and program
management. He has successfully held key roles at the International Level, Managing Agriculture and
Rural development programs in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. He holds an
MSC Degree in Nutrient Cycling from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Ngolia Kimanzu, works as the Quality Assurance Manager, of the International Development of the
Salvation Army office in Stockholm, Sweden. He is working to Develop Agricultural Values Chains in
17 countries in Sub Saharan Africa. He also chairs the Global Food Security Group of the global
Salvation Army whose headquarters is in London, United Kingdom, and operates in more than 133
countries spread all over the globe.

Following in the footsteps of his late father Peter Oyier who was a leading
Agriculturalist and leveraging his food & technology experience, he founded the
Farmers Networks App Plc.
Farmers Networks app provides a suite of Agricultural enterprise management
solutions to Farmers. It enables them to sustainably increase their farming
efficiencies and market access by digitalizing their farming activities.

headed Women & Youth Banking; doubling up as the Change Agent- a Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Champion for +3 years.
